Portimão Food Tour
At 11:30 am on the day of the tour, we will meet in Praça Manuel Teixeira Gomes, in front of Casa Inglesa Café. Once the group has arrived, we'll begin our exploration of one of the most popular European cuisines: the flavors of Portugal.
We will start by exploring the historic center of Portimão and its most emblematic monuments, providing a local's perspective of this coastal city.
Participants will discover the decadence of Portimão through local fare, stopping at notable bars and the municipal market, ideal for an authentic taste of Portuguese gastronomy.
During the tour, you'll sample a rissole filled with meat or fish, an empada with a savory filling, a portimonense, a typical local dessert, and the famous pastéis de nata.
The tour will conclude after a morning of experiencing some of the best local cuisine.
