Porto Alegre Mysteries & Legends Tour

At 7 pm, we'll meet at Avenida Borges de Medeiros in the historic center of Porto Alegre. This walking tour will explore the enigmatic and mysterious places of the capital of Rio Grande do Sul.

We will visit emblematic spots such as the old cemetery of Porto Alegre and Largo da Forca, notable for numerous 19th-century executions. The tour continues with a focus on the hidden aspects of the city.

During the tour, we will discuss the murders of Rua do Alvoredo, involving a German butcher and a Hungarian-Brazilian couple between 1863 and 1864, detailing this horrific crime wave.

We will also see the Castelinho do Alto da Bronze, which carries its own set of secrets involving a prisoner, a controversial affair, betrayal, and jealousy. Beware! Former inhabitants may surprise us along the route.

The tour concludes at 10 pm, returning to the starting point.
