The Industrial and Handicraft Textile Museum (MIAT) is located inside an old carpet factory in the center of Portugal. This century-old building in Mira de Aire houses a vast collection of artisanal equipment and industrial machines used in the wool transformation process.

Throughout this guided tour of the MIAT, you'll learn about the history of the golden age of Portuguese textiles, when Mira de Aire and Minde were leaders in this sector during the 20th century.
