12 Day Tour of Tocantins

Day 1: Palmas

You will be picked up from your hotel or the airport, welcomed with lunch or dinner, and then taken to your hotel for the first night.

Day 2: Palmas - Puente Alto de Tocantins

After breakfast, we will leave Palmas, stopping at Sussuapara Canyon in Jalapao State Park for a swim under a 16-foot waterfall. We will return for lunch, then go to Pedra Furada for sunset photography, followed by dinner at the lodge.

Day 3: Puente Alto de Tocantins - Mateiros

Following breakfast, we will visit Lajeiro and Old Falls. Then, at the New River beach, you'll swim before lunch. We conclude the day with a sunset boat ride on the river. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Mateiros.

Day 4: Jalapão Park - Mateiros

After breakfast, we will visit fervedouros pools and learn about them, followed by a traditional lunch in Quilombo and a visit to Jalapão dunes. The day ends with dinner and overnight in Mateiros.

Day 5: Mateiros - Palmas

After breakfast in Plata, we will head back to Palmas, observing the Cerrado ecoregion. Lunch is included, followed by dinner at the hotel in Palmas.

Day 6: Palmas

After breakfast, we will conduct a guided tour of Palmas, visiting attractions including Sunflower Square and Coluna Prestes Memorial. Dinner at the hotel concludes the day.

Day 7: Palmas - Caseara

Following breakfast, we will head to Cantão Park, visit the park's headquarters, and then stay at Caseara Inn with dinner included.

Day 8: Caseara - Cantão Park

After breakfast and a safety briefing, you can choose from hiking, cycling, or a boat ride. Lunch follows the activity, with overnight dinner in Caseara.

Day 9: Caseara - Lagoa da Confusão

After breakfast, we will travel to Lagoa da Confusão, take a boat to Bananal Island for lunch, and embark on a photo safari. Dinner and overnight will be back in Lagoa da Confusão.

Day 10: Lagoa da Confusão

We will explore Lagoa da Confusão, visiting churches and enjoying a boat journey. Evening dinner and rest at the lodge are planned.

Day 11: Lagoa da Confusão - Bananal Island - Palmas

After breakfast, we will explore the Amazon, Ipucas forests, and Cerrado, returning to Palmas for dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Palmas

Breakfast will be provided before your transfer to Palmas airport, concluding the 12-day adventure.
