Bananal Island and Cantão Park 5 Day Trip

Day 1

Arrival at 8 am from your hotel or Palmas airport, followed by a three-hour drive to Caseara. After a traditional lunch, we will head to the Araguaia region to encounter exotic wildlife. A boat trip along the Araguaia River will showcase beautiful beaches and Bananal Island, the largest river island in the world. Dinner and overnight stay in Caseara.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will sail into Cantão Park and embark on a 4-mile trek at the lake mouth. Lunch will follow before continuing through Cantão Park and engaging with a riverside community near Pará. Return to Caseara for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Early morning departure for Cantão Park to witness spectacular landscapes at dawn. Depending on the season, we will explore the park on foot or by boat, observing exotic bird species. A boat trip along the park's channels will be included. Return to Caseara for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

After breakfast, a nearly three-hour drive to Lagoa da Confusão will lead to a boat tour of the lagoon. Following lunch at the hotel, we will embark on a photo safari to observe exotic species before returning to Lagoa da Confusão for overnight accommodation.

Day 5

Final day begins with breakfast before leaving Lagoa da Confusão for scenic Bananal Island, crossing the Javáes River and observing local fauna and flora. After lunch, we will depart for Palmas, arriving at your hotel or the airport around 5:30 pm.
