Bananal Island and Cantão Park 5 Day Trip

Day 1

Pickup is at 8 am from your hotel or Palmas airport. We will drive for three hours to Caseara, followed by a traditional lunch. Next, we head to the remote Araguaia region to see exotic wildlife, followed by a boat trip on the Araguaia River, home to Bananal Island. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay in Caseara.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will sail into Cantão Park and disembark for a 4-mile trek. Following lunch, we will explore the northern zone of the Araguaia River and visit a riverside community near Pará. We return to Caseara for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

We start early with breakfast and then head into Cantão Park to enjoy its landscapes at dawn. Depending on the season, we may explore the park on foot or by boat, observing exotic bird species. The day ends with dinner and overnight stay in Caseara.

Day 4

After breakfast, we travel nearly three hours to Lagoa da Confusão, where we will take a boat ride on the lagoon. After lunch at the hotel, we will embark on a photo safari to view exotic species before returning to Lagoa da Confusão for overnight stay.

Day 5

On the final day, we have breakfast and leave Lagoa da Confusão for Bananal Island, crossing the Javáes River. After exploring and having lunch, we head back to Palmas, arriving at your hotel or the airport around 5:30 pm.
