Chapada das Mesas National Park Multi Day Trip

4-Day Tour

Day 1

We will commence our 4-day exploration of the Chapada das Mesas National Park with a pickup from your hotel in Palmas at 5 am. Are you excited to unveil the magnificent nature of Maranhão? Let’s begin!

After a scenic drive of approximately 500 kilometers (310 miles), we will reach Carolina. Our first stop will be for lunch, followed by a visit to one of the highlights of the area: the Gemelas Waterfalls, also known as the Itapecuru Waterfalls.

We'll conclude the day by checking into our accommodation, allowing you some well-deserved rest. Looking forward to seeing you again tomorrow!

Day 2

We'll bid farewell to Carolina and head towards Riachão. During our visit there, we'll explore remarkable sites in the Chapada, including Encanto Azul, Pozo Azul, Los Enamorados Waterfall, Santa Bárbara Waterfall, and Paula Waterfall. Prepare to be captivated by these majestic waterfalls and the region's crystal-clear waters over the days spent in the heart of nature.

After a fulfilling day, we'll return to our lodging in Riachão for the night.

Day 3

On the third day, our destination will be the Pedra Caída Tourist Complex, a true natural gem, and the Sanctuary Waterfall. If you wish, additional nearby attractions such as the Capellán Waterfall, Caverna Waterfall, Garrote Waterfall, and Porteira Waterfall can be explored. As the day ends, you can experience the breathtaking sunset over the Tocantins River. What more could one desire?

We'll conclude this day once again at our accommodation.

Day 4

Our last day will be dedicated to discovering the Chapada das Mesas Portal, where you'll be rewarded with spectacular views of the Morro do Chapéu town.

We'll wrap up our trip with a return to Palmas, expected to arrive around 3 pm, marking the end of this remarkable tour.

5-Day Tour

Selecting the 5-day tour option means you will follow a similar itinerary to the one described earlier. The additional day will be focused on exploring the Prata and São Romão Waterfalls.

On the fourth day, we will revisit the Pedra Caída Tourist Complex and the Sanctuary Waterfall. Finally, on our last day, we’ll stop by the Chapada das Mesas Waterfall before starting our journey back to Palmas, with an estimated arrival time of around 3 pm.
