2-Day Expedition

Day 1: Palmas – Pedra Furada – Lagoa do Japonês – Pindorama

We will start with a pick-up from your accommodation in Palmas, setting off on our adventure through Serras Gerais in a 4x4 vehicle, with our first stop at Pedra Furada. This stunning sandstone formation will undoubtedly captivate you.

Once we enjoy lunch, our journey continues as we head to Lagoa do Japonês, a unique natural setting that features a shallow lake and a flooded cave connected to each other. Visualize taking a refreshing swim in this enchanting spot—you’ll have an opportunity to dive into the crystal-clear waters and soak in the beauty around you.

Our day will conclude in Pindorama, where we will dine and rest for the night.

Day 2: Pindorama – Enchanted Canyon – Cidade de Pedra – Palmas

After breakfast, we will make our way to the Enchanted Canyon, a renowned highlight of Serras Gerais. As we arrive, you’ll be amazed by its towering 70-meter (229-foot) walls, and we will take some time to visit the Elias Waterfall, a splendid site perfect for a dip.

Later, we will explore Cidade de Pedra, or the Stone City, where intriguing rock formations shaped by millennia of wind erosion await. We’ll take a walk to appreciate the dos Pelados and Urubu Rei Waterfalls up close.

Our day ends as we return to Palmas, where we anticipate to finish the tour around 7 pm.

4-Day Expedition

Day 1: Palmas – Enchanted Canyon – Cidade de Pedra – Dianópolis

The itinerary on our first day mirrors the latter day of the 2-day expedition. However, the night will be spent in comfortable accommodation in Dianópolis following dinner.

Day 2: Dianópolis – Aurora do Tocantins – Praia do Pequizeiro – Praia Puçá – Rio da Conceição

On the second day, we’ll depart the hotel post-breakfast and journey to Aurora do Tocantins, home to the Azuis River, recognized as the tiniest river in Latin America—measuring a mere 147 meters (482 feet).

Next, we will visit Pequizeiro and Puçá beaches, two idyllic spots where you can unwind and swim at your leisure. As the day progresses, we’ll head to Rio da Conceição for our overnight stay.

Day 3: Rio da Conceição – Lago da Serra – Cachoeira Cavalo Queimado – Cachoeira das 17 Quedas – Dianópolis

After enjoying a restful night, we will embark on a trip to Lago da Serra, offering serene and crystal-clear waters recognized among the most stunning lagoons in Serras Gerais.

Subsequently, we will head to the Cachoeira Cavalo Queimado waterfall, where its multiple pools provide the perfect setting for rafting adventures. After a delightful lunch in this beautiful area, we will continue our exploration to the Cachoeira das 17 Quedas, renowned for its mini canyons and enchanting natural pools.

The day wraps up back at our hotel in Dianópolis.

Day 4: Dianópolis – Lagoa Bonita – Natividade – Palmas

Following breakfast, our journey proceeds to Lagoa Bonita, reached by a scenic hike through lush forest.

Afterward, we will visit Natividade, the oldest urban area of Tocantins. Here, we’ll see the Iglesia Histórica de Piedras church and sample the renowned biscoito amor perfeito, a beloved local delicacy. Before departing this charming town, we'll stop for lunch at a local restaurant.

Finally, we will make our way back to your hotel in Palmas, marking the end of our journey around 7 pm.
