If you are in Porto Seguro and want to see other places in the state of Bahia, be sure to join us on this boat trip on the João de Tiba River. Incredible landscapes await us!

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Porto Seguro and head to Vila de Santo André, where we'll take a boat trip on the João de Tiba River, also known as the Santa Cruz River, located on the border between Bahia and Minas Gerais.

Upon arrival at the embarkation point, we'll board the boat to navigate the João de Tiba River until its confluence with the Mutum River. At this point, we'll turn off the boat's engines to pass through a narrow natural tunnel formed by native trees, providing an ideal photo opportunity.

After this stretch, we'll reach a spot where we will see an orchard and houses built on the banks of the João de Tiba River by local families that have been preserved through generations.

We'll disembark to meet the locals and pick seasonal fruits, while learning about typical foods and plants used for natural remedies in this community. Afterwards, we will listen to interesting facts about the history of the river and can engage in horseriding if desired.

Finally, we'll return to the boat to go back to Santo André. From there, we will head back to your hotel in Porto Seguro, with an estimated arrival 8 hours after pickup.
