Trancoso Day Trip

On this day trip, we'll leave Porto Seguro to visit Trancoso, a town rich in history. Enjoy a stroll through the old town and its beaches.

Day Trip Details

We will begin by picking you up at your hotel in Porto Seguro and travel south for about an hour and a half to Trancoso.

Upon arrival, we will explore various sandbanks, notably the beaches of Quadrado de Trancoso and beach of Dos Cosqueiros, known for their scenic views.

You will have approximately 5 hours of free time for sightseeing and to have lunch at seaside restaurants. Afterwards, we will proceed to the center of Trancoso.

We will conduct a guided tour of the main sights for about 1 hour, covering the town's history from the 16th century with Pedro Álvares Cabral and its evolution into a 'hippie town' in the 1970s.

During the tour, we will visit the old neighborhood of Quadrado, the historic center where you can see colonial fishermen's houses and the Church of San Juan Bautista.

The day trip concludes with a return to your hotel after approximately 9 hours.
