Trancoso Excursion

On this excursion, we'll leave Porto Seguro behind to visit Trancoso, a town full of history and peculiarities. We'll take you on a stroll through the streets of the old town and admire its dreamy beaches.

Trancoso Excursion

After picking you up at your hotel in Porto Seguro at 8 am, we'll travel south for about an hour and a half until we reach Trancoso.

Upon arrival, we'll go on a guided tour of the main sights of this town, whose history dates back to the 16th century when Pedro Álvares Cabral arrived in Brazil. During the tour, we'll discover what life was like for the Jesuits and learn about its transformation in the 70s into a 'hippie town.'

We'll also explore the old neighborhood of Quadrado, the historic center of Trancoso, where we’ll see the colonial fishermen's houses and the church of Quadrado.

Then, we'll head to the beach of Quadrado de Trancoso, just a 15-minute walk away. There, you can enjoy its waters and the reefs visible from the bay, a perfect spot for a photo.

You will have half an hour of free time to eat at one of the beach restaurants. Afterwards, we'll start our return to Porto Seguro, where we'll finish the tour at your hotel around 5 pm.
