Trancoso Day Trip

On this excursion, we'll leave Porto Seguro to visit Trancoso, a town full of history and peculiarities. We'll take you on a stroll through the streets of the old town and admire its beaches.

Day Trip Details

After picking you up at your hotel in Porto Seguro at the indicated time, we'll travel south for about an hour and a half until we reach Trancoso.

Upon arrival, we'll go on a guided tour of the main sights of this town, whose history dates back to the 16th century with the arrival of Pedro Álvares Cabral. During the tour, we'll discover the life of the Jesuits and the town's transformation in the 70s into a 'hippie town.'

We'll explore the old neighborhood of Quadrado, the historic center of Trancoso, where we'll see the colonial fishermen's houses and the church of Quadrado.

Next, we'll head to the beach of Quadrado de Trancoso, a 15-minute walk away, where you can enjoy the beauty of its waters and the reefs visible from the bay. You will have half an hour of free time to eat at one of the beach restaurants. Afterward, we'll return to Porto Seguro, finishing the tour at your hotel after about 9 hours.

There are no pickups from hotels in Arraial D'Ajuda, Trancoso, Santa Cruz Cabrália, Espelho, Caraíva, etc. If you're staying in these places, we will contact you after booking to arrange a meeting point in central Porto Seguro.
