We started in Braga, a city full of religious history. Visit Portugal's oldest cathedral and the Bom Jesus Sanctuary, recognized by UNESCO and famous for its baroque architecture and stunning views. Explore the charming historic centre of Braga, including the picturesque Jardín de Santa Barbara, before enjoying a traditional lunch on your own, with regional flavors.
We then head to Guimarães, the birthplace of Portugal. Discover the emblematic Castillo de Guimarães, from the X century, the Palace of the Dukes of Bragança and the Church of São Miguel. Walk through La Plaza Martins Sarmento, the Town Hall and the Church of Nossa Senhora da Oliveira, immersed in the medieval beauty of this city declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
