On this tour we'll get to know the history of Port wine, from its origin in the vineyards of the Douro Valley, visiting several wineries and trying their wines.
Douro Valley Tour
After meeting at San Bento railway station, we'll head east towards the Douro wine-producing region. The first stop is in Pinhão, located at the confluence of the Douro and Tedo rivers, known for its wineries. Here, we'll enjoy the region's star product: wine. A traditional lunch of Portuguese delicacies will also be provided. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements.
After lunch, we'll take a relaxing cruise along the river, enjoying spectacular views of the valley, followed by a visit to one of the region's key wineries where you'll taste fine Port wines.
Finally, we'll conclude the tour at Rua de Alexandre Herculano after a total of 10 hours.
