On this tour we'll get to know the history of Port wine, from its origin in the vineyards of the Douro Valley, visiting several wineries and trying their wines.
Tour Details
After meeting along the Vandoma Sidewalk, we'll head eastwards to the Douro wine-producing region.
The first stop is in Pinhão, located at the confluence of the Douro and Tedo rivers, known for its wineries. Here, we will enjoy the region's star product: wine, along with a traditional lunch of Portuguese delicacies. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements to accommodate your lunch experience.
After lunch, we will take a relaxing cruise along the river, appreciating the views of the valley, before visiting one of the region's major wineries for Port wine tasting.
We will conclude the tour at Rua de Alexandre Herculano after a total of 10 hours.
