Fátima and Coímbra Day Trip

Day Trip Details

After meeting at the Calçada da Vandoma, we will travel south to Fátima, located 200 km from Porto.

In Fátima, we will explore the significance of the apparition of the Virgin Mary to three shepherd children in 1917. Key sites include the Sanctuary, the Basilica, and the Chapel of the Apparitions.

After the visit, you will have free time to eat, explore the city, or relax with a coffee.

The next destination is Coimbra, Portugal's fourth largest town, where we will visit the University (one of the oldest in continuous operation), the Old Cathedral (12th century with evident Arab influence), and walk through the historic centre.

We will conclude our day at Rua de Alexandre Herculano after a total of 9 hours.
