Full-day tour to Santiago de Compostela and Valença do Minho

We started our excursion from Porto, heading towards Santiago de Compostela after crossing the Spanish border. This city, rich in history and spirituality, is the final destination of the famous Camino de Santiago and attracts millions of travelers every year.
Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to contemplate the majestic Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela located in the Plaza del Obradoiro, where it is believed that the remains of the Apostle Santiago el Mayor lie. You can enjoy free time to discover its splendid interior, participate in the Misa del Peregrino and, hopefully, witness the famous Botafumeiro. Dive into the charm of the old town, recognized as World Heritage by UNESCO, exploring its churches, markets and picturesque squares.
On the road back to Portugal, we will stop at Valença do Minho, known for its formidable fortification of the seventeenth century that stands on the Miño River. Take a moment to stroll along its streets, visit local shops and enjoy spectacular views before returning to Porto, taking with you a day full of history, culture and devotion.
