Discover the culture, gastronomy, and natural beauty of northern Portugal on this day trip to Guimarães and Braga. Guimarães is known as the "Cradle of Portugal," while Braga is a charming historic city.
In Braga, we'll visit the Sé de Braga and the Santuario do Bom Jesus. A guided tour of the historic center will take us to iconic monuments like the Episcopal Palace and through picturesque streets.
After free time for shopping and a typical Portuguese meal, we'll head to Guimarães to see the Medieval castle and explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the historic center. The influence of 14th-century French palaces can be seen in the architecture.
The tour will end back in Porto around 6 pm.
