Guimarães & Braga Day Trip

On this day trip, we'll visit Guimarães and Braga, exploring the culture and beauty of northern Portugal. Experience the historical significance of the "Cradle of Portugal".

Day Trip Details

We will meet at Calçada da Vandoma and travel to the charming historic city of Braga. In Braga, we will visit the Sé de Braga and the Santuario do Bom Jesus. A guided tour will cover the historic center, highlighting the iconic Episcopal Palace and taking us through picturesque streets of the old town. After this, participants will have some free time for shopping before proceeding to Guimarães.

In Guimarães, we will explore the Medieval castle and the historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Key sights include the fortified towers of the Palace of the Dukes of Braganza, where we will observe its architectural influences from 14th-century French palaces. The day concludes at Rua de Alexandre Herculano after a total of 9 hours.

VIP Day Trip

The VIP option includes pickup from your hotel in Porto. It follows the same itinerary as the standard tour but accommodates small groups of no more than 8 people.
