Guimarães & Braga Day Trip

On this day trip, we'll visit Guimarães and Braga, known for their culture and natural beauty in northern Portugal and their significance in the history of Portugal.

Day Trip Details

We will meet at the specified time on Rua Mouzinho da Silveira and travel to the historic city of Braga. Our first stop will be the interior of the Sé de Braga and the Santuario do Bom Jesus. Following this, we will embark on a guided tour of the historic center of Braga, where we will view the exterior of notable sites such as the Episcopal Palace and stroll through the picturesque streets of the old town.

After enjoying some free time for shopping and exploration in Braga, we will proceed to Guimarães. Here, we'll visit the Medieval castle and the historic center, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The fortified towers of the Palace of the Dukes of Braganza will be visible throughout the city, and we will examine its exterior, noting the influence of 14th-century French architecture.

The day will conclude with our farewell at Rua de Alexandre Herculano after a total duration of 9 hours.
