Discover one of Portugal's greatest natural jewels with this day trip to the Peneda-Gerês National Park from Porto. You'll explore its streams, waterfalls, forests, and more while admiring impressive views.

Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Porto at 9 am and depart for a 1-hour drive to the Peneda-Gerês National Park. Upon arrival, we will explore this major northern attraction, created in 1971 and recognized as the only National Park in the country.

We'll visit a natural paradise designated as a World Biosphere Reserve in 2009. The tour includes a visit to the renowned Tahiti Waterfall, located along the Arado River, where you can take a dip. Additionally, the Pedra Bela viewpoint offers spectacular views of the Gerés Valley and the Caniçada reservoir.

Before concluding the day, we will enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in the natural surroundings. The trip will end with a drop-off at your hotel at 6 pm.

Activity Pickup

If you're staying outside of Porto, please head to the Statue of Vímara Peres on Calçada de Vandoma for pickup to start the tour.
