Day Trip Details
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Porto at 9 am and depart for a 1-hour drive to the Peneda-Gerês National Park.
Upon arrival, we'll explore this National Park, established in 1971, and recognized as the only National Park in the country. It became a World Biosphere Reserve in 2009. The tour includes a visit to the Tahiti Waterfall on the Arado River, where you may swim, and the Pedra Bela viewpoint for views of the Gerés Valley and Caniçada reservoir.
Before leaving, we'll have a delicious picnic lunch in the Portuguese nature. The day trip concludes with your drop-off at the hotel at 6 pm.
Activity Pickup
If you're staying outside of Porto, please meet at the Statue of Vímara Peres on Calçada de Vandoma for pickup.
Itinerary Changes
The itinerary may change in June, July, and August due to park crowds; thus, the Tahiti Waterfall might not be visited during these months.
