Sail the river Douro and discover the capital of wine and vineyards with this Régua Day Cruise. The return to Porto will be by train to offer a different perspective of the local landscapes.
Day Cruise Details
The cruise leaves from the Cais da Estiva dock in Ribeira, Oporto. A breakfast will be served as we depart from Porto.
During the cruise, enjoy views of the Douro Valley's vineyards and wineries. We'll pass through the Crestuma-Lever Dam, featuring a lock that descends 14 metres. An audio guide is included to share interesting facts about the locations visited.
At midday, a lunch featuring traditional Portuguese dishes will be provided, accompanied by water, soft drinks, and wine.
The journey continues to the Carrapatelo Dam, which has a 35-metre drop. We will arrive in Régua at 3:45 pm, allowing free time to explore the area and discover local culinary specialties.
Following the visit, a bus will return us, arriving at Luiz I Bridge in Vila Nova de Gaia after 10.5 hours.
