We’ll gather at Rua de Passos Manuel at the designated start time for a stroll through Porto’s historic center. Are you ready to uncover the charms of one of Portugal’s most captivating cities?
The journey begins at the Porto Cathedral, a vital and ancient monument within the city. We’ll observe its grand façade and delve into its medieval roots while taking in panoramic views of the historic district and the serene Douro River.
Our next destination is São Bento Station, renowned as one of the most aesthetically pleasing train stations in Europe. Here, we will admire the exquisite blue and white tile murals that depict significant events from Portuguese history, ranging from royal occasions to everyday activities.
We will then approach the Clérigos Tower, an emblematic structure of Porto. As we circumnavigate the building, information about its baroque design and its longstanding prominence in the city’s skyline will be shared.
