Apóstoles Yerba Mate & Tea Tour

Apóstoles is the Argentine capital of yerba mate. This tour in the province of Misiones is designed for tea lovers.

Yerba Mate Tour (5 Hours)

The tour begins at the Casa del Mate, known as the "National Capital of Yerba Mate," where you will learn about the origins of Argentine yerba mate. The next stop is the Juan Szychowski Historical Museum, which details the history of La Cachuera S.A., a leading yerba mate exporter.

Visitors can see the process of harvesting and processing yerba mate. At the end of the tour, there will be an opportunity for a tasting of mates and other infusions before returning to your hotel.

Tea Tour (8 Hours)

This tour includes a visit to the La Ruta del Té estate, where you can explore various tea plantations. Staff will explain harvesting methods based on the tea leaves.

You will learn about the origins of tea plantations in Argentina and its popularity in South America. Dishes by La Vieja Fábrica restaurant's chef will be served, followed by a tasting of different types of tea from Misiones.

Yerba Mate & Tea Tour (10 Hours)

This tour combines the tea tour from the previous section and the yerba mate tour. After tastings at La Ruta del Té estate, you will continue to the Juan Szychowski Historical Museum for more on yerba mate, concluding with a tasting of Argentinean mates before return.
