Embark on this journey from Posadas, where you’ll explore two of Misiones' most significant landmarks: the Cruz de Santa Ana and the Jesuit ruins at San Ignacio Miní, along with the breathtaking Salto Encantado waterfall.
Trip Overview
At the scheduled time, you will be collected from your accommodation in Posadas for a remarkable exploration of Misiones, Argentina's northeasternmost province.
Your adventure begins at the Salto Encantado Provincial Park. Within this protected region of Misiones, marvel at the stunning Salto Encantado waterfall, which cascades down 64 meters (209 feet). As we tour the park, we will also encounter other magnificent waterfalls, including Salto la Olla and Picaflor waterfall.
Following our park visit, we will head to the town of San Ignacio, providing you an opportunity to enjoy lunch. After your meal, a guided exploration of the Jesuit ruins at San Ignacio Miní awaits, a site established by Father San Roque González de Santa Cruz in the year 1611.
Continuing our excursion, we will proceed to the Parque Temático de la Cruz theme park, home to the renowned Cruz de Santa Ana, perched at an elevation of 360 metres (1181 feet). This magnificent 52-meter (170-foot) metallic crucifix is truly impressive. Those interested can ascend to the observation platform, offering breathtaking views of the Paraná River.
Our tour will wrap up with the return to your hotel in Posadas, expected approximately 12 hours after we embark.
