Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Posadas for a tour of Misiones, the most northeastern province of Argentina.
The first stop will be at the Salto Encantado Provincial Park. In this protected area, we'll see the impressive waterfall of Salto Encantado, reaching a height of 64 metres (209 feet). We'll also see other waterfalls, such as the Salto la Olla and the Picaflor waterfall.
After the provincial park, we'll go to the town of San Ignacio for lunch. After lunch, we'll take a guided tour of the Jesuit ruins of San Ignacio Miní, founded in 1611 by Jesuit father San Roque González de Santa Cruz.
Next, we'll visit the Parque Temático de la Cruz theme park, where we will see the iconic Cruz de Santa Ana, located 360 metres (1181 feet) above sea level. This 52-metre (170-feet) metallic crucifix offers scenic views of the Paraná River from the viewpoint.
