Immerse yourself in the stunning beauty of the Iguazú Falls, an extraordinary natural marvel located in South America. This day excursion begins from Posadas, where you will explore the Argentinean side of these magnificent waterfalls.
Day Trip Overview
At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your accommodation in Posadas and embark on a journey to the northernmost region of the Misiones province in Argentina. Upon arrival, you will enter the breathtaking Iguazú National Park, home to waterfalls recognized as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
Your guided exploration of this stunning national park will span 5 hours, commencing at the central station of the falls. We will board the eco-friendly jungle train, which will transport us to various pedestrian pathways that wind through the area. As you delve into this natural sanctuary, prepare to be captivated by the spectacular landscapes that surround you.
From the primary walkways at Iguazú Falls, you will have the opportunity to gaze upon the impressive waterfalls from the Argentine side. Among these, the Devil's Throat is particularly striking, where torrents plunge into the Iguazú River from a staggering height of 262 feet (80 meters), adjacent to the Brazilian borders of the falls.
The 275 individual waterfalls that compose Iguazú Falls boast an astonishing water flow averaging 62,012 cubic feet (1,756 cubic meters) per second. The vivid white spray created by the cascading waters starkly contrasts with the rich greenery of the jungle.
You will enjoy a one-hour break to savor lunch at the waterfall station. After this, we will regroup and return you to your hotel in Posadas, concluding this memorable adventure in approximately 12 hours.
