Posadas Tour & Birdwatching
At your chosen time, we'll set off from your hotel on our sightseeing tour of Posadas. The tour of this Argentinean city, capital of Misiones, will begin along the Acceso Sur area and the Avenida Costanera. This long promenade is located on the banks of the Paraná River, marking the border between Argentina and Paraguay, connected by the San Roque González International Bridge.
Next, our tour continues to Plaza 9 de Julio, where the Government House and the Cathedral of San José are located. We will proceed through the northern part of the city to see the Republic of Paraguay Park and the Manuel Antonio Ramirez Amphitheatre, including the old train station along the Costanera.
While on the Costanera, we'll view the largest pencil-drawn mural in the world. Afterwards, we head to the Arroyo Itá Nature Reserve, a 2-hectare green space for our birdwatching tour. This reserve is home to up to 170 species of birds, including blue herons, scarlet flycatchers, and limpkins, as well as various fish like mojarras and shads, and mammals such as otters and capybaras.
After 3 hours of exploration, we'll take you back to your hotel in Posadas.
