When making your booking, you can choose from the following options. All include pickup from your hotel in Posadas, return transfer, transport, an English-speaking guide, and tickets to the visited places.

San Ignacio Miní

This day trip includes a visit to the remains of the San Ignacio Miní reduction, one of the main missions founded by Jesuit fathers in the 17th century. These European monks aimed to convert the local Guaraní Indigenous people around the Paraná River to their religion.

San Ignacio Miní is the best preserved Jesuit reduction in Argentina. Notable remainings include the central square, the church, the Casa de los Padres, other dwellings, the cemetery, and the chapter house, all built with the reddish asperon stone typical of the area.

Schedule: Depart from Posadas at either 8 am or 2 pm, based on your booking, and return 6 hours later.

San Ignacio Miní + Audiovisual Show

This option includes a visit to San Ignacio Miní followed by an audiovisual show about the ruins. The show will bring the history to life, presenting the facts with the latest technology.
