San Ignacio Miní
This trip includes a visit to the remains of the San Ignacio Miní reduction, one of the main Jesuit missions founded in the 17th century. The Jesuit fathers aimed to convert the local Guaraní Indigenous people along the Paraná River.
San Ignacio Miní is the best preserved Jesuit reduction in Argentina. During the visit, we will see notable structures including the central square, the church, the Casa de los Padres, other dwellings, the cemetery, and the chapter house, all built with local reddish asperon stone.
Schedule: Departure from Posadas is at 8 am or 2 pm, based on your booking. Return occurs 6 hours later.
San Ignacio Miní + Audiovisual Show
This option includes an audiovisual show after visiting San Ignacio Miní, where you will see the history come to life through advanced technology, providing an immersive experience.
