We will meet at your selected time on Calle Ayacucho and walk to the Plaza 10 de Noviembre, located nearby.

Here, we will view the Holy Basilica Cathedral of Potosí, constructed between 1808 and 1836, reflecting both colonial baroque and neoclassical styles. We will explain the significance of the terms "cathedral" and "basilica" in its title.

This cathedral represents the last significant construction in Potosí. During our 1-hour guided tour, we will discuss the importance of religious architecture in Bolivia and the history of the building.

After appreciating the cathedral's exterior, we will enter the naves to observe the paintings, decorations, and gold-leaf panelling inside. Highlights will include visits to the mausoleum, the choir, and the bell tower, which offers a panoramic view of Potosí.
