We will meet at your selected time on Calle Ayacucho and walk to the Plaza 10 de Noviembre, just a few meters away.

Upon arrival, we will stand before the Holy Basilica Cathedral of Potosí, built between 1808 and 1836, showcasing both colonial baroque and neoclassical architectural styles. An explanation of the terms "cathedral" and "basilica" in reference to this building will be provided.

This church represents the last major construction in the city. During our 1-hour guided tour, we will explore the importance of religious architecture in Bolivia and the cathedral's history.

After appreciating the cathedral's façade, we will enter its naves to observe the paintings, decorations, and gold-leaf panelling inside. Notable areas to be visited include the mausoleum, the choir, and the bell tower, which offers a view of Potosí.

The tour will conclude at the exit of the temple.
