At the plaza, we'll arrive at the Holy Basilica Cathedral of Potosí, a significant religious building constructed between 1808 and 1836, showcasing both colonial baroque and neoclassical architectural styles. The significance of the terms "cathedral" and "basilica" regarding this building will also be explained.

This church represents the final major construction in the city. During the 1-hour guided tour, we will learn about the importance of religious architecture in Bolivia and the building's history.

After appreciating the cathedral's façade and discussing its stages, we will enter the naves to view the paintings, decorations, and gold-leaf panelling. The tour includes visits to the mausoleum, the choir, and the bell tower, which offers a panoramic view of Potosí.
