Immerse yourself in the rich history of Potosí as you uncover its key landmarks including the Cathedral Basilica and the lively Plaza del 10 de Noviembre on an engaging guided exploration.

Potosí City Exploration

Upon reserving your guided city exploration of Potosí, you will have the option to choose between two distinct experiences, both commencing from calle Ayacucho:

Guided Exploration (1.5 hours)

After connecting at the designated meeting location at your selected time, we will embark on a guided walk through the city. Our journey begins at the San Francisco Church, after which we will visit the Holy Basilica Cathedral, the city's principal religious site. This cathedral was erected in the 19th century, built upon the ruins of an earlier structure that had previously collapsed.

As we stroll along historic colonial streets like Calle Sucre and Nogales, our path will lead us to the Plaza del 10 de Noviembre. This square commemorates the Potosí Revolution of 1810 and has become one of the central hubs of the city.

During our visit, we'll gain authentic insight into the everyday life of Potosí residents as we explore its main square and other noteworthy spots. After 1 hour and 30 minutes of exploration, we will conclude our journey back at the original meeting point.

Guided Exploration + Museum Admission (3 hours)

If you're looking for a more in-depth experience, consider this option. Alongside the same itinerary detailed in the guided exploration, you will have an additional hour and a half to visit a local museum, choosing between the National Mint of Bolivia or the Santa Teresa Museum.
