When booking, you can choose from two options, both starting and ending on Ayacucho Street in central Potosí:

Kunty Mine Tour

This option takes you to one of the most notable modern mines in Potosí. After a 20-minute drive, we arrive at Cerro Chico, home of the Kunty mine.

During the tour, we will enter one of the mine's levels to explore the mining culture. Information about the deity El Tío, often associated with alcohol, tobacco, or coca leaves, will be provided. Photography of the mining wagons is allowed before we return to the minibus for the trip back to the starting point.

Candelaria Mine Tour

The Candelaria mine, more traditional and dating back to the seventeenth century, is located approximately 20 minutes away.

The tour begins with a visit to a small mining museum, offering insights into the profession and the daily life of miners, including their diet, schedule, and tools, such as coca leaves used to cope with altitude.

We will explore the galleries for two hours, view ancient ritual offerings, and see how the tunnels connect. The return to the surface will be via the Rosario mine before heading back to the starting point in the vehicle.
