In the South of Bohemia, you can find Cesky Krumlov, a town designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992.

Description

Leaving Prague at 8:30 am, we travel to Cesky Krumlov, the medieval town known for the second largest castle in the Czech Republic.

The guide will navigate through the narrow winding streets of the historic center, showcasing Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque buildings associated with the noble families of Rozmberk, Eggenberg, and Schwarzenberg. Afterward, you will have free time to explore the town.

The tour will then focus on the castle, the main attraction in Cesky Krumlov, which is the second-largest castle in the Czech Republic. The guide will present the impressive exterior of the castle and visitors can purchase tickets to enter. The interior features antique furniture, works of art, tapestries, and a collection of ornate weapons. The grounds include a unique revolving theater that rotates with scene changes.

Following the tour, we will return to Prague, arriving around 6:30 pm.

Cesky Krumlov Castle is open during the following times:

From January 2nd to March 31st, 2025: Tuesday to Sunday. Only the castle museum and tower are accessible.From April 1st to October 31st, 2025: Tuesday to Sunday.
