Day Trip Details

The tour meets at the Powder Tower and departs from the center of Prague at 8:30 am, heading northwest towards Karlovy Vary, with the first stop at a viewpoint to admire the spa town before experiencing its curative waters.

The tour includes visits to the impressive geysers that create a 14-metre tall fountain of water, the notable colonnades, and opportunities to sample the thermal waters from various fountains. Additional sites include the headquarters of the Knights of the Maltese Cross and Mozart's house.

Your expert local guide will provide insights into the town's history, the affection of Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV for Karlovy Vary, the first resort established in the 18th century, its growth, and its present-day significance. You will have 30 minutes of free time to explore the world-famous Moser glassware.

The tour returns to Prague, arriving at approximately 6 pm at the original departure point.
