Praia Grande Free Tour

On this free tour of Praia Grande, we will explore the main attractions of the capital of the canyons, enjoy its landscapes, and stop at the Grota Bier Brewery.

Description

We will meet at Rua Irineu Bornhausen to commence our free tour of Praia Grande. The tour will start with a walk along Abel Esteves de Aguiar Street, the town's main street. Next, we will visit the Grota Bier Brewery for a tasting of various beers.

We will then discover tafona, an artisan method for producing cornflour. Afterward, we will proceed to the front of Hotel Acasarosa and walk toward the craft fair to explore local souvenirs.

To learn about the town's history, we will visit the main square, home to the renowned scale model of the canyons. We will also stop by the Matriz São Sebastião Church, constructed in 1951.

Finally, we will arrive at the Mampituba bath, situated 50 metres (164 feet) from the city centre along the Mampituba River banks, which delineate the states of Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul. We will conclude this free tour of Praia Grande after approximately 2 hours. Until next time!
