Tajuvas Canyon Quad Tour & Hike

On this activity in the Tajuvas Canyon, we'll hike through gorge landscapes before an adventure aboard quad bikes.

Description

At the indicated time we'll meet you at Rua Mario Bordigno to start driving around Praia Grande. After brief introductions, we'll get on our quads to travel through roads surrounded by rivers, bridges, and mountains.

We will arrive at the Chapecó Canyon viewpoint for a stop to ride on the swing and take pictures with the views.

Our journey then continues to the Tajuvas Canyon, where we will hike a 5-kilometre (3.1 miles) trail along a historic muleteer path to an elevation of 750 metres (2460 feet). After reaching the summit, we’ll have a sparkling wine toast.

We'll then return, stopping at the Cachaças Hahn distillery to see the production of this Brazilian drink, followed by a visit to the Carol waterfall, over 30 meters (approximately 98 feet) tall, where you can swim. Finally, we will return to the meeting point in Praia Grande after about 4 hours of activity.

Requirements

Only individuals over 18 with a driving licence may operate the quad bike. Children aged 6 to 17 can only participate as passengers.
