Assomada Day Trip

We'll pick you up at 9 am from your hotel in Praia and head to Santiago island. The first stop will be in São Domingos for breakfast, which includes corn pancakes and a glass of punch.

Next, we will visit the São Domingos Eco Centre to learn about local flora and fauna. After that, we will continue through the towns of San Lorenzo de los Órganos and Picos.

Upon arriving at Assomada, we will visit the Cruz de Picos viewpoint for views of the Valle de Fonte. We will also stop at the Assomada central square, Norberto Tavares Cultural Centre, and the Municipal Market to experience local life.

Afterward, we will enjoy a traditional fish lunch at a local restaurant before stopping at the Poilao reservoir to see the oldest tree in Cape Verde.

We will return to your hotel, concluding the excursion around 5 pm.
