At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Praia and commence the tour of Cape Verde's capital.

The first stop will be at the Doña María Pía Lighthouse on Santiago Island's southern tip, where incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean await. Next, we'll head to the Plateau neighborhood for a walking tour of Praia's historic center, including Alexandre Albuquerque Square, the Presidential Palace, the Church of Our Lady of Grace, and the Jaime Mota Barracks.

Adjacent to the square is the Praia Municipal Market, featuring fruit and vegetable stalls, followed by a visit to the Sucupira Market, specializing in local handicrafts. After the markets, we'll drive to Cidade Velha, an ancient Portuguese settlement on Santiago Island's southern coast.

The ruins of Cidade Velha are a World Heritage Site and among the Seven Wonders of Portuguese Origin in the World. Highlights include the remains of the ancient cathedral and the Fuerte Real de São Filipe.

We'll also visit the Church of Our Lady of Rosário, the convent of São Francisco, and the Pelourinho, the former slave market square.

At the end of the tour, we'll return to your hotel in Praia after 4 hours of exploration.
