Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Praia and drive to Santiago Island's west coast. Along the way, we'll make short stops for pictures of the villages of São Domingos and Assomada.

Our bus will drop us at Ribeira da Barca, where we'll take a 30-minute trip on a fishing boat. We'll then continue along Santiago's coastline towards Achada Leite. Here, we'll stop briefly to admire the coastal rock formations, which are considered one of the seven wonders of Cape Verde.

The next stop will be at Aguas Belas Beach, where you'll have 1 hour of free time to swim in the Atlantic and snorkel in the sea caves. Following your swim, you'll enjoy a barbecue lunch on the beach, consisting of grilled meat or fish with vegetables and rice.

After lunch, we'll return to Ribeira da Barca for a leisurely stroll to appreciate the village's scenery and the cliffs, noting their greenish and ochre tones alongside the Atlantic's blue.

Lastly, we'll return to your hotel in Praia, where you should arrive between 5 and 6 hours after pickup.
