Explore the west coast of Cape Verde's largest island on our Ribeira da Barca & Aguas Belas Day Trip from Praia, visiting the village of Ribeira da Barca and Aguas Belas' coastline.

Day Trip Details

We will pick you up from your hotel in Praia at the indicated time and drive to Santiago Island's west coast. Short stops will be made to take pictures of the villages of São Domingos and Assomada.

Upon arrival at Ribeira da Barca, we will embark on a 30-minute fishing boat trip. We will then continue along the coastline towards Achada Leite, where we will stop briefly to view the coastal rock formations, recognized as one of the seven wonders of Cape Verde.

Our next stop will be Aguas Belas Beach, where you'll enjoy 1 hour of free time to swim in the Atlantic and snorkel in the sea caves. Following your swim, a barbecue lunch will be served on the beach, featuring grilled meat or fish with vegetables and rice.

After lunch, we will return to Ribeira da Barca for a leisurely stroll to appreciate the village's scenery and the cliffs' colors blending with the Atlantic's blue.

Finally, we will return to your hotel in Praia, arriving approximately 5 to 6 hours after pickup.
