São Vicente Island Day Trip

At 5 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Praia and take you to Santiago Island Airport. From there, you'll take a flight to São Vicente Island, arriving after 1 hour.

Upon landing, we'll pick you up at the terminal for a tour of São Vicente Island. The capital, Mindelo, is our first destination, where we will visit the main church, the municipal market, and the birthplace of singer Cesária Évora. Additionally, we'll visit Fortim do Rei to view the Belem Tower and learn about its connection to the Lisbon tower.

After Mindelo, we'll head to the Praia da Bote market known for fresh fish caught off the coast of Salamansa. Then, we will proceed to Gatas Bay to capture images of its sand dunes.

Next, we'll visit Monte Verde Natural Park, notable for its 'volcanic tuffs'. After experiencing the landscape, we'll return to Mindelo for a 30-minute lunch break next to Laginha Beach.

We'll then take you to São Vicente Airport for your return flight. After arriving back at Santiago Island, we'll collect you from the terminal and return you to your hotel in Praia, with an estimated arrival time of 6 pm.
