Free Tour Details
We'll begin this free tour of Providencia at the Plaza Felipe Dawes, next to the Manuel Montt metro station exit. The tour will start promptly at the designated time.
First, we'll pass by Bar Liguria, an iconic restaurant known for Chilean music. Then, we'll head to Pequeña Providencia, a picturesque neighborhood within the district declared a Zona de Conservación Histórica. This area is characterized by its lively atmosphere of bars and restaurants.
Next, we will visit the Iglesia de la Divina Providencia, a Neo-Renaissance style church from the late 19th century. After its history, we'll go to the William Noon architectural complex, designated as a Zona Típica. We will also stroll along Calle Keller, one of Providencia's hidden gems.
Continuing our walk, we'll explore the Zona Típica of the Población de la Caja del Seguro Obrero neighborhood, noted for its classic architecture. Near this neighborhood, we'll find the Embassy of Italy in Santiago, a notable building in Providencia.
After visiting other significant places, we'll conclude our free tour at the Mercado de Antigüedades, where a variety of items can be found.
