Horseback Riding in Providencia

After picking you up at your accommodation, we'll head to the Southwest beach to see the sunrise and meet the horses for our ride around Providencia.

Once settled on the horses, we'll ride about two kilometers (1.25 miles) to the top of Peak, the highest mountain on the island. At 360 meters (850 feet) high, we'll enjoy a panoramic view of Providencia and the Caribbean Sea below, known locally as the "meditation rock," a resting place for slaves during colonial times.

We will proceed through Old Providence McBean Lagoon National Park and into the tropical dry forest, looking for native wildlife while passing by local farms, until we reach Manzanillo beach.

We'll stop to rest in this natural enclave, known as one of the most beautiful bays in Providencia. There will be an opportunity for a dip in the crystal-clear water and a traditional-style local lunch while relaxing under the Colombian sun.
