4-Hour Fishing Tour
At the designated time, we'll meet at the floating bar near the Santa Catalina bridge to head to the Palmera and Basalto Cays for fishing. Fishing is a traditional practice used in the Colombian islands for community sustenance.
As we travel from north to south Providencia, the guide will demonstrate how to clean fish and perform trolling, a technique involving dragging bait from the boat. Participants will aim to catch barracuda and mackerel.
Additionally, we will pass by the beautiful beaches of Providencia, including Aguadulce and Bahía Sur Oeste. A stop will be made at Bahía Sur Oeste for a lunch of grilled fish.
After this experience, we will return to the starting point after 4 hours of activity.
5-Hour Lionfish Fishing Tour
This option is for those with a professional diving certificate and over 20 dives. Participants will join a lionfish fishing tour, where lionfish are targeted due to their desirable meat.
Fishing will occur at One Hook and Pelagic Spot, with the use of Hawaiian harpoons. After fishing, lunch will consist of lionfish ceviche.
Participants opting for this experience must go directly to the Felipe Diving Centre.
