Argentine Border Tour
At 9 am, we'll depart from your hotel in Pucón to Curarrehue, a village near the Argentine border. From Curarrehue, we will continue to Mamuil Mala, the border crossing point between Chile and Argentina. We will enjoy a sightseeing tour without entering Argentina and admire the views of the Lanín Volcano, which is 12,388 feet (3,776 meters) high and part of the Pacific Ring of Fire.
We'll stop in the area surrounding the volcano to appreciate the Araucaria forests, characterized by their lush green hues across the valleys of Lanín Valley. The tour will then take us along the shores of Lake Quillelhue, located less than a mile from Argentina, where historically, people crossed the lake by boat to travel between countries.
After viewing Lake Quillelhue, we will return to your hotel in Pucón, with a drop-off at 1 pm.
