Huerquehue National Park Hike
At 8 am we'll pick you up from your hotel in Pucón and drive to the Huerquehue National Park, a protected area in Chile's Araucanía region.
We’ll begin our hike by exploring the park's forests, including the thousand-year-old monkey-puzzle trees. During the hike, we'll learn about the conditions that allow this species, abundant in South America, to thrive.
The park is known for its lakes, including Tinquilco, Verde, Toro, and Chico lakes, surrounded by lush greenery.
As we walk, we’ll see other plants such as coigüe and lenga trees and learn about local wildlife including Darwin's frogs and pudus, the smallest deer species.
After the hike, we'll return to the starting point and then make our way back to Pucón, arriving at approximately 1 pm.
Pick up
This activity includes pick-up from hotels in central Pucón. If staying in a more remote location, we will pick you up at calle Pedro de Valdivia, 375.
