Discover the lush forests and enchanting lagoons in one of Araucanía's most beautiful natural areas on our Huerquehue National Park Hike. We'll spend the day walking among breathtaking scenery on this unforgettable activity.
Huerquehue National Park Hike
At 8 am we'll pick you up from your hotel in Pucón and drive to the Huerquehue National Park, a beautiful protected area in the Chilean region of Araucanía.
We'll begin our hike by exploring the forests in the park, featuring thousand-year-old monkey-puzzle trees. We will learn about the conditions that allow this botanical species, abundant in South America, to thrive.
The park is also renowned for its lakes. During our hike, we will visit the Tinquilco, Verde, Toro and Chico lakes and admire the surroundings.
As we continue walking, we will discover other plants like coigüe and lenga trees and learn about local wildlife, including Darwin's frogs and pudus, the smallest species of deer in the world.
After the hike, we will return to the starting point and make our way back to Pucón, arriving at approximately 1 pm.
