Huilo Huilo Reserve Day Trip
At 8 am, we'll depart from your hotel in Pucón heading south. We'll border Lake Villarrica and take a short break in the village of Licán Ray to contemplate Lake Calafquén.
The next stop will be in the town of Panguipulli, where we'll view its church and main square, and see the lake of glacial origin that gives the town its name.
We'll continue to the Huilo Huilo Reserve, known for its main rivers and waterfalls. Here, we will explore the scenic beauty of the region.
Next, we will visit two accommodations within the reserve: the hotels Nothofagus and Montaña Mágica. In Puerto Fuy, you'll have a free hour for lunch at a restaurant with views of Lake Pirihueico and Mocho-Choshuenco volcano.
After lunch, we'll visit the Memorial Museum of Volcanoes, located in a natural setting where we may see deer and wild boars. Finally, we will return to your hotel in Pucón, arriving at 8 pm.
