On this day trip, let yourself be captivated by the waterfalls, forests, and rivers of the Huilo Huilo Reserve, a beautiful protected area located in the Patagonian Andes.
Huilo Huilo Reserve Day Trip
At 8 am, we depart from your hotel in Pucón heading south. After bordering Lake Villarrica, we reach the village of Licán Ray for a short break to contemplate Lake Calafquén.
Next, we visit the colorful town of Panguipulli, stopping in front of its church and main square while viewing the lake of glacial origin that names the town.
Continuing towards the Huilo Huilo Reserve, we explore its main rivers and waterfalls, which are part of a scenic environment.
We then stop at two charming accommodations within the reserve: hotels Nothofagus and Montaña Mágica. The tour proceeds to the town of Puerto Fuy, where you have an hour for lunch at restaurants overlooking Lake Pirihueico and Mocho-Choshuenco volcano.
After lunch, we visit the Memorial Museum of Volcanoes, situated in an area where we can see deer and wild boars. Finally, we return to your hotel in Pucón, arriving at 8 pm.
