Climb to the top of the Villarrica volcano on this hiking route and enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains located in this area of Chile.

Villarrica Volcano Hike

At 6 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Pucón and drive to the base of the Villarrica Volcano. Upon arrival at the foothills, we will take a chairlift to an altitude of 2,000 meters above sea level, from where we will begin a hiking route to the summit at 2,847 meters above sea level.

The ascent will be of medium-high difficulty and last 4 to 5 hours. During the hike, we will see the Villarrica crater, which emits smoke and measures 200 meters in diameter.

From the summit, views include surrounding peaks like the Lanín and Quetrupillán volcanoes and the Villarica and Calafquén lakes. On clear days, green valleys bordering the lakes may also be visible.

A stop will be made for participants to enjoy a picnic lunch with panoramic views.

Afterward, we will take the chairlift back to the base of the volcano and return to your hotel in Pucón, arriving at approximately 6 pm.

This activity includes pickup from hotels in the center of Pucón. For those in remote areas, the pickup point is Calle Pedro de Valdivia, 375.
