Climb to the top of the Villarrica volcano on this hiking route and enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains located in this area of Chile.

Villarrica Volcano Hike

At 6 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Pucón and drive to the base of the Villarrica Volcano.

Upon arrival at the foothills, we will take a chairlift to an altitude of 2,000 meters above sea level. From there, we will begin a hiking route to the summit of Villarrica, reaching a height of 2,847 meters above sea level.

The ascent, which will be of medium-high difficulty and last 4 to 5 hours, includes views of the Villarrica crater, which measures about 200 meters in diameter and continuously emits smoke.

From the summit, participants can see surrounding peaks such as the Lanín and Quetrupillán volcanoes, as well as the Villarica and Calafquén lakes. If conditions permit, views of the green valleys bordering the lakes may also be visible.

A picnic lunch break will be provided to enjoy the panoramic views.

Finally, we will take the chairlift back to the base of the volcano and return to your hotel in Pucón, arriving at 6 pm.

Pickup

This activity includes pickup from hotels in the center of Pucón. For those staying in more remote areas, pickup will be at Calle Pedro de Valdivia, 375.
