Description
After picking you up at your hotels in Santiago de Chile at 7:30 am, we will set off west on our trip to Tricao Park. The journey takes about an hour and a half by car, minibus, or bus, depending on group size.
Upon arrival, we will take a guided tour of Tricao Park and visit its fabulous aviary, one of the largest in the world. For the next 2 hours, we will walk along the paths and bridges of the enclosure and spot various exotic species of birds. We will also visit the Giverny Wetland, inspired by the gardens of Claude Monet.
Following our visit, we will drive to the town of Pomaire, where you will have free time for lunch. Later, we will regroup for a walking tour of this town, renowned for its artisan pottery tradition, allowing you to purchase souvenirs from local handicraft shops.
