Discover the largest Galapagos island on this day trip to Isabela Island and explore its volcanic landscapes, turquoise seas, and wildlife.

Options

During the booking process, you'll choose between two options, both starting at the port of Puerto Ayora and including an English-speaking guide.

Isabela Island Tour

After meeting at the designated time, we'll set sail on our speedboat. After a two-hour cruise, we will arrive at Isabela Island, noted for its volcanic activity. Our first stop will be Puerto Villamil, known for its turtle breeding grounds, where you may observe up to five species of giant land tortoises, along with flamingos and marine iguanas.

Following this, we will enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant. Post-lunch, we’ll visit Concha Perla, a beach surrounded by mangroves, home to sea lions and turtles. Finally, we return to the speedboat to head back to Santa Cruz after 11 hours of adventure!

Isabela Island Tour + Tintoreras Excursion

Starting at Puerto Ayora, we will board our speedboat for a tour of Tintoreras Bay, known for white-tip sharks, Galapagos penguins, and blue-footed boobies.

At the bay, we will snorkel to observe colorful reef fish. We will also visit the islet of Tintoreras to see sea birds. Afterward, we’ll head to Isabela Pier for a meal at a local restaurant. We will continue exploring Puerto Villamil, where we can see tortoises, flamingos, pelicans, and Galapagos penguins. Finally, we return to Santa Cruz after 11 hours.
