4-day PADI Open Water Course

The PADI Open Water Diver course on San Cristobal Island takes place over 4 consecutive days:

Day 1

We'll meet at the dive centre in Calle Igancio Hernandez and spend the first day in an introductory theory class to learn the safety rules to be followed underwater.

Day 2

On the second day, we'll familiarise ourselves with the diving equipment and teach you how to put on your wetsuit, flippers, goggles, snorkel, oxygen tank, and the rest of the necessary equipment. You'll have your first practical diving lesson in the pool and continue learning about diving techniques in theory lessons.

Day 3

We'll meet at the dive centre at the agreed time to do two dives in confined water. This practice will provide the necessary knowledge to dive at the bottom of the sea, followed by a final theory lesson.

Day 4

We'll prepare the equipment and head to the coast of San Cristóbal for two open water dives, descending to 18 metres (59 feet). You'll take an exam to obtain your PADI Open Water Diver certificate.

Experts Course

If you're not a beginner diver, consider booking the expert course, conducted over four days and including five adventure dives. Two dives (Deep Adventure Dive and Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive) are compulsory, while the others can be selected from seven options. Upon completion, you'll receive a temporary PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification card to validate globally, allowing you to dive to 30 metres (98 feet).
