Puerto Cabello Guided Tour

Welcome to Puerto Cabello! At the appointed time, we'll meet at Plaza El Águila and set off on a walking tour of Venezuela's main port city.

Throughout the tour, we'll pass by some of the most important sites in Puerto Cabello, starting with a visit to Malecón for an introduction to Venezuela's history, featuring fountains and sculptures of mermaids.

Next, we will visit Plaza Bolívar and the Cathedral of San José, located at the site of the Anzoátegui Barracks. After this, we will spend about half an hour at the Museo Casa Herrera to learn about the history of Puerto Cabello.

We will continue with a look at the colorful houses of the colonial era and review stories of pirates and captains from the fifteenth century.

Along our route, we will see landmarks such as the Church of El Rosario, Casa Guipuzcoana, Plaza Juan José Flores, Street Lanceros and its Prefects, and the Monument to Decentralization. Remember to take pictures!

Finally, after a total of 2-3 hours, we will return to the starting point, bringing the tour to an end.
