Day Trip Details

At the scheduled time, from the different meeting points in Puerto de la Cruz, we’ll head to Teide National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2007.

You will explore this volcanic landscape and observe the rock formations created by lava from the Teide volcano, which stands over 12,000 ft tall (3,718 metres), the highest summit in Spain.

Next, we’ll travel through Santiago del Teide towards Masca. Here, surrounded by mountain scenery, you’ll hear stories about pirates who are said to have hidden treasures in the area. Then, we’ll proceed to Garachico, noted for its volcanic natural pools and Canary architecture.

Afterwards, you will have free time for lunch or to try local Canarian dishes at recommended restaurants in the Ycoden Daute Isora area.

Following lunch, we’ll visit Icod de los Vinos to see the famous dragon tree, a symbol of the island with an interesting history.

We will then return to the meeting points in Puerto de la Cruz.

Pickup Points

Pickup in Puerto de la Cruz and Santa Ursula will occur between 7:30 and 8:30 am. You must select your preferred meeting location when reserving.

Other Areas

This day trip departs from Puerto de la Cruz. If you are located in Candelaria, Las Caletillas, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, San Cristóbal de La Laguna, La Orotava, or other northern tourist areas, you must travel to Puerto de la Cruz for pickup.

If you are staying in southern areas like El Médano, Callao-El Paraíso, Ten Bel, Los Gigantes, Golf del Sur, La Caleta, Las Américas, or Los Cristianos, you can book a similar tour departing from the south.
