Day Trip Details

We will depart from Puerto de la Cruz to the south of the island, visiting the Teide National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2007. This volcanic landscape features unique rock formations from the Teide volcano, which stands at over 12,000 ft (3,718 metres).

Next, we will travel through the town of Santiago del Teide towards Masca, known for its rugged mountain scenery and pirate legends. We will then head to Garachico, famous for its volcanic natural pools and Canary architecture.

Afterwards, you will have free time for lunch, with options to try local Canarian dishes at recommended restaurants in the Ycoden Daute Isora area.

We will then visit Icod de los Vinos to see the age-old dragon tree, a symbol of the island.

Finally, we will return to the designated meeting points in Puerto de la Cruz.

This day trip departs from Puerto de la Cruz. If staying in Candelaria, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, or other tourist areas in north Tenerife, you must travel to Puerto de la Cruz for pickup. If in southern areas like Los Gigantes, you can book a similar tour that departs from the south.
