Teide Cable Car + Hike Experience

Tour Details

After picking you up by bus from one of the different meeting points at the scheduled time, we'll set off for Teide National Park, where we'll find the cable car.

The cable car journey takes approximately 10 minutes, climbing over 1000 metres to the top station at 3555 metres above sea level. We will then start walking along the Telesforo Bravo route to the volcano's peak. An official permit is required for this hike, which will be processed as part of the tour.

We will hike more than half a kilometre, experiencing the smell of sulphur and diverse rock colours. After about 40 minutes of walking, we will reach the Teide summit, where, if weather permits, we can see other islands: La Gomera, El Hierro, La Palma, and Gran Canaria.

Afterward, we'll return to the cable car for the descent and the bus waiting at the base station. The tour concludes at the departure points after approximately 6 hours.

Ascent to the Peak

The confirmation of this reservation is not immediate due to the need for a special permit from the national park to climb Mount Teide. Once your reservation is received, we will process the permit and confirm when authorized. If you do not receive final confirmation within 72 hours, please contact us to check the status.

Important Info

Individuals with cardiovascular problems, pregnant women, and those with reduced mobility cannot go on the cable car. Additionally, entry restrictions apply: sports or hiking footwear is required; sandals, backless shoes, heeled shoes, or smooth-soled footwear are prohibited.

Schedules and Pickup Points

Pickup times are generally between 6:55 and 9:25 am. We will contact you prior to the excursion to confirm the exact pickup time, which may vary. When reserving, please indicate one of the pickup points available in northern Tenerife.
