Teide Cable Car + Hike Experience

After picking you up by bus from one of the different meeting points at the scheduled time, we'll set off for Teide National Park, where we'll find the cable car.

The journey in the cable car cabins will take us approximately 10 minutes, climbing over 1000 metres to the top station at 3555 metres above sea level.

We'll start walking along the Telesforo Bravo hiking route to the top of the volcano. An official permit is required to access this route, which we will manage for you. We'll walk more than half a kilometre, with the surrounding environment filled with the smell of sulphur, until we reach the top of the highest peak in Spain. After 40 minutes of walking, we'll have a view of the summits of the nearest islands: La Gomera, El Hierro, La Palma, and Gran Canaria.

Afterward, we will return via the cable car to the base station where our bus will be waiting. The tour will conclude back at the departure points after a total of 6 hours.

Ascent to the Peak

Reservation confirmation is not immediate as a special permit is required from the national park to climb Mount Teide. Upon receiving your reservation, we will process the permit and confirm once authorized. If you do not receive confirmation within 72 hours, please contact us for an update.

Important Info

People with cardiovascular problems, pregnant women, and individuals with reduced mobility cannot take the cable car. Entry restrictions apply to those not wearing appropriate sports or hiking footwear. Sandals, backless shoes, heeled footwear, and smooth-soled shoes are prohibited.

Schedules and Pickup Points

Pickup times are generally between 6:55 and 9:25 am. We will inform you of the exact time before the excursion as it may vary. Please indicate a pickup point in northern Tenerife when making your reservation.
