Admire the incredible night sky in a unique location on our Teide Stargazing Tour. We'll set off from North Tenerife and take a guided tour of the Teide Observatory, gazing at numerous constellations.

Teide Stargazing Tour from North Tenerife

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your chosen meeting point in North Tenerife and welcome you aboard the minibus. We'll travel to the Teide National Park.

Our first stop will be at the Teide Observatory, which has been operational since 1964 and features one of the most significant solar telescopes globally. We'll take a guided tour to learn about its modern technology.

During the visit, we'll explain why Tenerife is ideal for stargazing and how astrophysicists conduct their research. You'll observe the sun through the observatory's telescopes.

Additionally, we'll enjoy the sunset on Mount Teide, where we will appreciate the transition from day to night.

After sunset, we'll reach the base station of the Teide cable car for a 30-minute break with a picnic meal including a sausage and cheese sandwich, a sweet treat, and a beverage.

You will then have 1 hour and 15 minutes to use long-range telescopes to observe constellations and learn about the North Star and its connections to Greek mythology.

We will drop you off back at the starting point after a total of 8 hours.

Tour with or without food

If you prefer not to have the picnic meal, you can choose the tour option without food and need to bring your own meal.
