Experience a food tour of Tenerife's famous guachinches, starting with a pickup at your hotel. The first stop is the Casa del Vino in El Sauzal, a 17th-century Canarian hacienda featuring a museum and wine cellar. Here, you will taste three varieties of Tenerife wines—red, rosé, and white—paired with a selection of local cheeses while learning about the island's winemaking heritage.
The next destination is the Bodegas Monje winery, established in 1750. You will have the opportunity to explore its facilities and enjoy three glasses of your choice from their youngest wines alongside three snacks.
Subsequently, the tour will take you to a traditional guachinche, where a menu will include grilled cheese with mojo sauce, escaldón, papas arrugadas with mojo sauce, huevos al estampido, and ropa vieja, all accompanied by exquisite wines. The total duration of the tour, including return transfer to your hotel, will be between 6 and 19 hours, depending on your hotel's location.
